Description
We are pleased to be able to offer to you a quality mug with artwork by the local artist Linda Golding. The design features a selection of Pontefract’s most important buildings and attractions. It also shows the town’s crest depicting the castle referred to as the “Key to the north”, also indicating the river Aire which flows close to the town, where the bridge stood that gave Pontefract its original name “Pontus fractus”.
This quality Mug makes a great souvenir to remember your visit to Pontefract. This is also a perfect gift for local residents still living in the area, or for those have now moved away.
Exclusive to Pontefract Civic Society.
Available at our stalls at community events or at our public talks when they return later in the year. Check our Facebook page for updates.
PLEASE NOTE POSTAGE IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO THE FOLLOWING POSTCODES WF7, WF8, WF10, WF11.
