We are pleased to be able to offer to you a quality mug with artwork by the local artist Linda Golding. The design features a selection of Pontefract’s most important buildings and attractions. It also shows the town’s crest depicting the castle referred to as the “Key to the north”, also indicating the river Aire which flows close to the town, where the bridge stood that gave Pontefract its original name “Pontus fractus”.
